The Story In Your Eyes

Revelations: Y

Certain Timing +

There is nothing that is Above;
There is nothing that is Beyond;
There is nothing that is not Within His realms.

He is Life itself.
“He knew you before you were born.”
He is the Father – of All.

He is the Creator:
No matter what happens,
It is only Within.

    New Day Coming

    Head in my hands,
    Time slipping away,
    like falling sand.
    Till it’s bleeding daylight.
    The rope pulled tight.
    Now I’m standing still
    on the edge of a knife.
    Just ready for a fight…
    just ready for a fight…

    I’ll get back up for good this time.
    I ain’t coming down!
    I’ll get back up cuz my whole life,
    I was lost, but now I’m found.
    It’s the dawn of a new day…new day.
    It’s the dawn of a new day coming.
    It’s the dawn of a new day…new day.
    It’s the dawn of a new day!

    Lay down your pain,
    Cut it from your heart,
    let it fall like rain,
    Like tears in the dust.
    There in the dark,
    There’s a raging fire looking for a spark,
    Let it light you up…
    Let it light you up…

    I’ll get back up for good this time.
    I ain’t coming down!
    I’ll get back up cuz my whole life,
    I was lost, but now I’m found.
    It’s the dawn of a new day…new day.
    It’s the dawn of a new day coming.
    It’s the dawn of a new day…new day.
    It’s the dawn of a new day!

    Kahlil Gibran on Love

    When love beckons to you, follow him,
    Though his ways are hard and steep.
    And when his wings enfold you yield to him,
    Though the sword hidden among his pinions may wound you.
    And when he speaks to you believe in him,
    Though his voice may shatter your dreams
    as the north wind lays waste the garden.

    For even as love crowns you so shall he crucify you. Even as he is for your growth so is he for your pruning.
    Even as he ascends to your height and caresses your tenderest branches that quiver in the sun,
    So shall he descend to your roots and shake them in their clinging to the earth.

    Like sheaves of corn he gathers you unto himself.
    He threshes you to make you naked.
    He sifts you to free you from your husks.
    He grinds you to whiteness.
    He kneads you until you are pliant;
    And then he assigns you to his sacred fire, that you may become sacred bread for God’s sacred feast.

    All these things shall love do unto you that you may know the secrets of your heart, and in that knowledge become a fragment of Life’s heart.

    But if in your fear you would seek only love’s peace and love’s pleasure,
    Then it is better for you that you cover your nakedness and pass out of love’s threshing-floor,
    Into the seasonless world where you shall laugh, but not all of your laughter, and weep, but not all of your tears.
    Love gives naught but itself and takes naught but from itself.
    Love possesses not nor would it be possessed;
    For love is sufficient unto love.

    When you love you should not say, “God is in my heart,” but rather, “I am in the heart of God.”
    And think not you can direct the course of love, for love, if it finds you worthy, directs your course.

    Love has no other desire but to fulfill itself.
    But if you love and must needs have desires, let these be your desires:
    To melt and be like a running brook that sings its melody to the night.
    To know the pain of too much tenderness.
    To be wounded by your own understanding of love;
    And to bleed willingly and joyfully.
    To wake at dawn with a winged heart and give thanks for another day of loving;
    To rest at the noon hour and meditate love’s ecstasy;
    To return home at eventide with gratitude;
    And then to sleep with a prayer for the beloved in your heart and a song of praise upon your lips.

    “Signs”

    This is not about age
    Time served on the earth doesn’t mean you grow in mind
    Grow in mind
    This is not about God
    Spiritual insinuations seem to shock our nation
    Our nation yeah

    Come with me I’m fading underneath the lights
    Come with me, Come with me, Come with me now

    This is not about race
    It’s a decision to stop the division in your life
    In our lives
    This is not about sex (sex)
    We all know sex sells and the whole world is buying
    You’re buying yeah

    Come with me I’m fading underneath the lights
    Come with me, Come with me, Come with me now

    Can’t you see the signs? See the signs now [x6]
    Yeah, come on
    Feel it . . . Yeah

    Come with me, I’m fading underneath the lights
    Come with me, Come with me, Come with me now

    Can’t you see them, see the signs you see them,
    all the signs we see them
    Can’t you see them, see the signs you see them,
    all the signs we see them

      “Amen”: New Beginnings

      Our Father, who art in heaven,
      Hallowed by thy Name –
      The King of kings, Lord of lords,
      Thy Name the same.

      My Leader, my Brother,
      My Savior, my Friend –
      Guide and carry me,
      Until that beginning as an end.

      Our Father, The Creator,
      The Holy, The One –
      Lift me to that time
      When eternity has only begun.

      Hallowed be Thy Names,
      Thy Swords to come;
      Hallowed are The Words
      Which shall never be undone.

    “God does not flash into our lives to work a piece of magic upon us
    and then disappear. To do so would eradicate human dignity; it would prevent our participation. Instead, God’s grace is always present intimately within us, inviting and empowering us toward more full, more free exercise of will and responsibility. The more open and spacious our will and responsibility become, the more God and person commune in creative splendor.”

    Thank you for this uplifting and empowering reflection of truth. In complete relation, the following could also be combined – for solidifying Strength, for a growing of ongoing Awareness, for a furtherance of Faith, for a sealing of Dedication, and as a poem which may (when needed) eradicate Fear as we Fight the Good Fight, while also touching upon various other crucial aspects in the overall Path of Spiritual context:

    “There is a really deep well inside me. And in it dwells God. Sometimes I am there too. But more often stones and grit block the well, and God is buried beneath.”
