Good Fridays: Why? When?

They say:
We’ve seen the Light.
We are here – to show, to Lead (away).
And then:
After realizing certain power[s],
They overcome, perhaps oppress,
For those claims must have results —
Even if their singular Path can only be realized, judged, and ruled
In and from exclusive Towers.
For us, they are the “Chosen” —
So some say.
Yet, many reason, and may wonder –
Someday:
